2023 appointment based repair rate: $85/hour
Contrabassoon repair rate: $95/hour

We are now offering the following 'Quick Services' in our repair department. Affordable rates for those surprise repairs!
Walk-in Repairs up to 1 hour of work at $85/hour. No appointment needed.
Clarinet/Oboe Tenon Cork Replacement: $30
Bocal Recorking/Replacement: $30
Oboe Octave well cleaning: $30
Clarinet Socket Ring Shimming: $10 per ring
Whisper Key Pad Replacement: $25+pad *
*note: this service will include a separate charge for the pad itself. There also may be extra regulation required depending on the configuration of the bassoon keywork.

Instrument Repair Payment Policy

Instrument Repair Payment Policy (for instruments belonging to someone not present in the store)
We want to accommodate schools and individuals that need to have instruments dropped off by someone other than the original owner. However, to streamline the payment process we require that the original owner or authorized school representative do one of the following:
• Provide a note in the case approving that the repair work can be billed to the owner or school. Please provide full contact information with this option.
• The owner/school provides repair authorization prior to the instrument being dropped off. This can be done in the form of an email or phone call.
We are happy to perform the requested repair work, but all repairs need to be paid for or given an invoice authorization (PO) before the instrument leaves the shop.
We understand that, as with most policies, there will be exceptions to the rules. If you have further questions or concerns, please contact the repair shop or an instrument specialist. 612-331-4717
