Opinel Knives

Opinel is a maker of blades for all purposes from cooking to camping. The No.8 blade has been proven to also be very effective as a knife for working on reeds. The blade is stainless steel and keeps its edge remarkably well. It also has a special convex profile that allows for the blade to maintain its strength while being quick and easy to sharpen. The handles are solid wood, and every knife has a special safety ring that, when engaged, prevents the blade from retracting unexpectedly.
